Nossa historia

We built the tool we wished existed

Trampay started in Sao Paulo in 2025 when we realized that 30 million Brazilian workers were earning real money and leaving zero trace the financial system could read. That gap made no sense. So we decided to close it.

Por que construimos isso

The problem was hiding in plain sight

Jorge Junior had spent years building payment and income-tracking systems for workers in Brazil's informal sector. He watched clients process earnings week after week with no paper trail, no payslip, no record any bank would recognize. The income was real. The financial system had no way to see it.

He knew the pattern existed in the data. Delivery platforms were already collecting it. In 2025, he and Sofia Ferreira started with a single question: could we turn a courier's delivery history into a credit foundation that lenders could actually read? Within six months, Trampay was live with an early-access group of 80 couriers in Sao Paulo.

The company is independently funded. No venture capital, no investor conditions, no pressure to extract value from workers instead of creating it for them. If Trampay makes money, it is because it helped couriers earn and save more. That constraint shapes every decision we make.

The founders

Jorge Junior
CEO and Co-Founder

Years spent building payment systems and income-tracking tools for workers in Brazil's informal economy gave Jorge a detailed view of where the financial system breaks down for gig workers. He co-founded Trampay to close the gap between earned income and credit access, and leads product and engineering direction.

O que acreditamos

What drives us

Make invisible income visible

Informal work is real work. The data already exists. Our job is to make it legible to the systems that matter.

Workers are the asset

Trampay earns when couriers earn more and build credit. We will never sell user data or monetize workers by selling access to lenders through predatory rates.

Data belongs to the worker

You can view everything we hold, correct it, and delete it. Platform connections are read-only. We never store your login credentials.
